A Brief History

On September 23, 2026 the United Football League announces they will place an expansion team in Colorado Springs beginning with the 2027 season.

On October 25,  2026 the UFL announces the team name and logo. The Colorado Stampede logo is a bison head with a bold C for Colorado on its brow and the mountains of the Springs rising from its mane. The colors tell Colorado's story; Bison Brown brings the power, Gold Rush captures the speed, Summit White reaches for the top, and Canyon Red pays tribute to the iconic red rocks of Garden of the Gods.
