A Brief History
The Colorado Summit joined the American Ultimate Disc League as a 2022 expansion team.
In late August 2023, the team announced they will be moving from Denver to Golden.
On January 17, 2024 the American Ultimate Disc League announced they have rebranded and will now be known as the Ultimate Frisbee Association.
On January 31, 2024 the Summit announce they have altered their logo to now use a bighorn sheep.
On July 22, 2025 the Summit announce they will give up their name to Denver's new National Women’s Soccer League expansion club. A new name will be chosen soon. “This is more than a handoff - it’s a collaboration built on respect, teamwork, and growing our Colorado sports community for everyone. It’s a huge honor to see the Summit name live on in professional women’s soccer, and we’re excited to take our fans with us into a new era for Colorado ultimate frisbee,” said Sal Pace, co-owner of the Colorado Summit.
